Nice busy Saturday lined up with a couple doctor visits - Trying to get the ok so I can start my PR tour. I'll be traveling wire-to-wire in Canda, Starting int he Northwest and ending in Montreal. Because that's how you do it. Montreal is such a bad-ass city, it's really the Canadian Vegas (as far as nightlife goes), and your typical USA douchebags are replaced by the french. So we're all winners...

I'm just kidding Frenchies... I love the French! Fries, toast, kissing... Kidding, kidding... But even you have to admit, you're still kinda... Fuckin' French, you know?

Psyched over the Bulls the past month or so, little signings here or there will make a bigger difference that the big splash in Miami. Just watch...

Before I head up to Canada (around second week in August), I'm trying to wrap up a special song/video for a certain chick that is being released from jail soon... I don't want to spill it... But don't think too hard on this one...

Also putting the finishing touches on a few tracks for Rock Band 3. Obviously won't be featured on the disk portion of the game, but hoping to get Cougar, Lil' Things, and a couple more in as DLC. Rock Band 3 will have a keyboard, so these tracks will have an awesome new sound to 'em. So it'll be like you'll hear them again - For the first time. Also, this past Friday reviewed the contract for Swallow My Children with Harmonix, hopefully you'll be able to download that around late August/Early September.

Well, that's the bloggin' for now - Look at that 2 in 2 weeks! A new record...

Be anything, as long as it's yourself... Even before the events I’m about to dump on you kept me occupied – I was still uber-busy and lagging on the blogging. Well, I have a lil’ more time due to some fun medical stuff, so let’s blog!

Yes, that’s right, I’m going to live, but then again there’s a chance I may not. A few weeks back I was rushed to the hospital here in Chicago and doctors found blood clots in my lungs, brain and around my heart. For those of you who may not know, I had heart surgery a few years back and am sceptical to clotting. So they put me on a ton of medication, gave me the take home game to give myself shots of medicine in my stomach (good times), and sent me on my way saying it’ll be months before the clots break, and hopefully they break ‘the right way.’ Yey. So for now, I’m pretty exhausted and chillin’ per doctor’s orders (good luck). All I can say is stay tuned…

In other news, while all this was brewing inside my body undiagnosed, I was working on a new album. That’s right kids… A new album is due out by the end of this year! Right now I’m still writing and getting the blueprint down on things, but I promise you it’ll be unlike anything you’ve ever heard. The fun part for you is I was able to finish and decided to release 2 singles from the album – Obama and Drill, Baby, Drill! You can find them on iTunes, Amazon, and wherever else you illegally download music from. Just spread the word, that’s all I ask in return for free downloading…

In closing, glad I was right about LeFraud after all… What a cocksucker. I’ve never really written a track about sport topics before… I think this may be something I’ll have to address in the near future. Sorry this is a shortie, but at the same time – I know you’d prefer more frequent updates, so you’ll get that instead of blogs you can bring to the toilet. Sound like a deal? Stay thirsty my friends… BS

BS (A. First off, a new video is debuting in a couple weeks; And keeping in the trends, it's going to knock the walls down and rock the foundation of every offensive video ever made. What song is it for? Blind, Deaf, and Mute. Yes, you heard that right. GO ahead and give it a listen and then picture what the hell the video is about. Yep. We went there.

LeBron:

So glad LeBron got his. I've never been a fan (though I respect his game, he is one of the best...), and seeing his team crap the bed yet again just felt great. And many propers to the Celtics - With this summer being a game changer in the NBA, this is probably their last run, and they're going out with a fight. Can't see them beating Orlando, but I can't envision them being swept either. I say Orlando wins it in 6, and if they play the Lakers - I think they beat them too... But if the Suns somehow keep this up... Well... Suns/Magic would piss off the networks as far as ratings go, but would entertaining as hell. And I think the Suns can pull it off. But it's awesome that there is so much parity - Always great for the game and the fans. If it's unpredictable, people will watch...

Getting back to LeBron, he's just a big phony. And yes, when I say that, all I can picture is the family guy episode of the guy who yells "phony!" at Peter throughout. You know... This one:

That's what I would do with LeBron. He can be picked apart a thousand different ways, but the fact is this: You can't force yourself as some kind of 'global icon' (his words) when the people don't embrace you as one. Being an icon means you are at mythical status, like people can't stop talking about you, or even better, your name being brought up ends conversations. Like you are the end-all, be-all. The world made Jordan a global icon, same goes for Ali. In America, Babe Ruth. In Canada... Gretzky. My point is this - They put their nuts on the table and did what they had to do. And most importantly... They won. Supporting cast be damned, Jordan didn't much of any help and he still came *just* short for a couple years, in a much deeper league talent-wise. So don't give me this bullshit about teammates, money, cities, whatever. They guy is forced down our throat and even move is micro-managed to a T. From the hiding of being dunked on at clinic, to orchestrated photos, to the teasing of New York with the hats.... He's a big fake. Manufactured and pushed in front of our face, tricking the public into thinking he's got it all. He's had his ass kissed almost his entire life due to his game. How can he know how to fight if he's never had to? All his teammates seem to kiss his ass, try to buddy up to him, it's a big joke. Rumors are any team he signs with will also let him pick their new coach. Wow... Way to let the player run the organization. That always works out, huh? Killer instinct is created by want. You gotta want it. His biggest want is getting paid and having the world bow down in front of him. What he is too stupid to understand is winning gives you all that and then some. You might be able to fake your way into becoming a billionaire through endorsements. But you'll never be able to fake your way to title. Stay out of Chicago LeBron, we don't need your sideshow - We only want winners. We work for ours - We don't ask for handouts...

BS (A. So this blog is supposed to make up for that. But even then, I'm not big on the whole concept.

I'm not necessarily the most private dude, hell - I air my dirty laundry in my music; But at the same time... I just don't see the need to talk about every *teeny*tiny* thing that goes on... And most importantly, why the hell should you care? I encourage my amazing fan base to be themselves, do your own thing, and not be like the rest of the sheep that are dragging America down. So enjoy my blog, stay up to date with me, whatever - But don't hang on waiting for a new post - Live your lives... I'll sleep easy one way or the other...

That said, I have been uber-busy preparing some goodness for you. The release of the outtakes/b-sides from 'Leave the Kids Behind' is coming early summer (date is TBA), and it's pretty 'effed up. In a good way. And even bigger news than that is the second music video from the album is on it's way in 2 weeks... "Foreclosed" hits the public on April 4th. It isn't like anything big is happening then. Unless you believe in children's stories...

And to top it off - Swallow My Children is coming to Rock Band... BUT - We're still ironing out edits, apparently that 'teen' rating isn't as loose as you'd think. Which I guess is good, considering we don't need anymore teen whores out there... And It's Complicated...

Here's the thing... I'm the kinda guy that is normally pretty laid-back, never really too phased by something, but when it's out of my control... I'm a disaster. I mean, can you blame me? If I took a shit in my pants, I have no choice but to laugh about it. I did it! But if someone else took a shit in my pants, well... I'd be pissed. And I think with good reason. After all, that foreign feces was not my fault. I had no control over that happening. I can sleep easy if I created the foam boxers, but if not... Well... Hopefully you get this fucked-up analogy...

My "other person took a crap-in-pants" moment has been happening the past few days. My new album "Leave the Kids Behind" is out Tuesday 1/26/2010. It's my first new release since August of 2004, and even more importantly it's a venture back to my roots - How I got to where I am today: Comedy music.

In a nutshell, I discovered my greatest creative outlet (music) by doing parody songs of random kids in high school. Think of it as if something was going down - I'd offer my commentary on it. Granted, I was suspended most of my junior and senior years of high school so I missed out on alot of the juicy happenings on a day-to-day level, but I called an audible and ended up writing most of the songs revolving around my own messed up teenage years. Ended up being a blessing in disguise because at least there is some record of my younger years: Songs of my drug and drinking binges.

Those goofy songs led to me getting some exposure with a producer, leading me to a working contract, and ultimately some face time in front of labels. Of course Eminem became popular overnight, and this outspoken white boy became a pawn in a much larger game. The industry demands you change to jump in on the fun, and if you don't you're screwed. So I said piss off and called it a day. Now over the years I stayed in music, learned production, and found peace with my place in the industry. When I released 'Box of Crackas' in 2004, I thought that was it and was very comfortable if that ended up being my final record.

But as it usually does, things change and my passion returned. So a smarter, revived, care-free BS has rose up and returned to his original place. Now I won't try to stand here and say I'm the best, but through everything I've learned, everything I've achieved, and everything I am - I know I can hang with the best this genre has to offer. Because I'm not an act. I believe nothing is off limits, nothing is taboo, and the people that act the most 'proper' and 'offended' are usually the ones with the most to hide. Everyone has skeletons. That's fine. I'm not asking you to come forward with them. But don't tell me you're offended or uncomfortable over something I said or did. I'm the guy who has to sleep with it. I'm the guy who gets the sneers, I'm the dealer - I'm the asshole. If you have an open sense of humor - I'm your guy. If not, well... Pull the stick out of your ass. I'm not demanding you be outspoken, I'm just telling you to chill the fuck out. Life's too short to be a tight-ass...

So since I've been a little anxious about the album release, I decided to check out a movie tonight. Really couldn't handle sitting in a theater for almost 3 hours with Avatar, so we went with It's Complicated with the immortal Alec Baldwin. Seriously, he can pull off creepy cool better than anyone. Just watching him sit on a bench staring and spying is funny. It's a good popcorn movie, it flows perfect - And doesn't have a over-the-top Hollywood ending. It's got a**gasp** realistic ending. Though one thing kinda made me squirm in my seat... Steve Martin being romantic. Seriously, has he ever had a love scene in a movie? I know he usually plays the dad, or a goof, or a professional type. Just ninety kinda ways wrong. Not even funny awkward. Just awkward. What do you tihnk? I know I can't be the only one thinking this...

Anyway, I'm going to be a whore and plug my new album:

http://1023e.com/index_music_LKB.html

And here's a video promoting it as well...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fj3gYlX2CN4

I'll be all over the radio this week whoring it up - Make sure you check out the new album so I can sleep well and never forget to be yourself and I'll check back with a new blog in a few...

BS

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://1023e.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-album-is-finally-here-and-its.html' title='New album is FINALLY here... Not worth it. Besides, if you're busy - What can an entertainer possibly say to keep people rivited? What does Lady Gaga's blog talk about?

'Day #38 of Tour: 8:28am : Had a bad experience with a background dancer last night... Found out I had a penis. To keep the teenagers interested in me, I'm going to dress in bubble-wrap. Gotta stop at Office Depot to pick some up...'

Ok, after typing that and taking a look, I'd be lying if I said that wasn't an interesting read. But that's kinda my point - Who the hell is that honest? Does Alec Baldwin say he's going to do a line of blow and try to bang a 18 year old tonight? Does 50 cent say he's going to visit some friends down at Eddie Bauer? Pick out some new drapes at Bed, Bath, and Beyond? Nope. Celeb blogs are an extension of their persona... Well, that's why I'm here...

BS is BS... As in, it's really me. I'm going to tell you that White Castle has given me AMAZING gas all day. If I get an STD, you're going to know about it. It's going to be part Twitter and Part E! True Hollywood Stories. We're going to have a blast...

Since this is a going to be a very brief first post, I'm just going to cut to another chase... I'll be whoring myself with those links on your right, check out all things BS - Hopefully you'll leave me some hate mail along the way...

And don't be pissed it's a shortie this time around... Just like weed, sex, and the Godfather... It's always better the second time around... See you again soon...

BS

BS (A.
